Recruitment Criteria:

• Instrument Skills: Possessing a certain level of instrumental playing skills, able to proficiently play the instruments required by the Chinese orchestra.

• Musical Literacy: Having good musical literacy and theoretical knowledge, understanding musical scores, and being able to accurately perform musical pieces.

• Band Experience: Priority will be given to those with previous band or Chinese orchestra playing experience, familiar with teamwork and stage performance.

• Learning Attitude: Being proactive, having a good learning attitude and teamwork spirit, willing to continuously learn and improve their musical abilities.

• Participation: Able to fully participate in the orchestra's rehearsals and performance activities, with a stable schedule.

• Performance Quality: Having good stage performance skills and musical performance techniques, able to demonstrate a professional level during performances.

• Enthusiasm and Responsibility: Having enthusiasm for music, a sense of responsibility towards the orchestra, and actively participating in various orchestra activities and promotional work.

 

Practice time: Every Sunday from 2-5pm

Performance opportunities: Regular annual concerts, music showcases, commercial performances

 

Fees:

• Registration fee RM60 (includes 2 uniforms - red and black, a basic instrument practice book + music collection)

• Membership fee RM90 (one-time payment for the first three months' membership fee)
